Ever want to curl up in a metro station?

I tell ya I feel like that's just what I wanted to do when we felt
that first blast of heated air since 7 am as we got on the metro at 5
pm or so, it was soooo delicious. And then more heat, and if you hold
out even longer, your first bathroom in 12 hours!

I feel a we're but bad for all those 1800 or so parade participants
tho because after obama passed first, so many hours past schedule,
most of the people in the bleachers could hardly wait for Biden to
walk by before they were out of there. But hey, each of them got their
CNN glory, even if the street was rapidly emptying. Saw an old friend
in the bleachers, she said she had been waiting in the frozen
bleachers since 8:30 that morning. Wow. Oy. But we are back and warm
now, heating up so we can change for the big queer gala, which sigh,
starts in only an hour. Shower and food please....
