We hear 3 of 4 silver ticket gates were never open, we are finally at the open one, but folk from up front say they've been there for 2 hours and they are not letting folk in. Should we turn, ditch the speech and try for our parade seats instead? I can't help but think it is a little off that having tix and being here at 7:30 am didn't mean we were able to get near to our "reserved" spots, not from crowds, but from police blocks.
